Mix this country-rock band DEAD RANDOM from Austin TX DEAD RANDOM 14 tracks

We recorded this song just yesterday, from a band in Austin TX.

DEAD RANDOM is a 4 piece country rock band
and this song is named "I Hate You So Damn Much"

lots of back-up vocals acoustic and electric guitars...

Initially we recorded the room live, putting microphones on the bass, electric guitar, drums and overheads, then we added all the vocals, and then we did another bunch of guitar tracks. There are 3 tracks named aux1, 2, and 3 ...some of those tracks were overheads some weren't. I had a track in there somewhere where a microphone was moved away from it's intended guitar amplifier...plus their identities get a little mixed up when you move the files from the recorder to the computer...

We started 11am, but the drummer was running late, I cut him some slack since he wrote the song. Various ban members made trips out to the gas station to get some beer and some munchies after the initial rhythm tracks...
We finished up by 5pm...we worked at a leisurely rate...it was a lot of fun!

the wav files are very large... I'll give it a try in a few hours when I get to the studio (garage).
 
mix this COUNTRY song by DEAD RANDOM...from Austin TX--UPDATED FILES

someone asked me to post these files in WAV format instead of MP3s
apparently I can't...I even zipped it all up its 134mb file

I did make my own mix...let the critics speak!

it was 14 tracks...we recorded the drums and bass and an acoustic on the first pass, microphones on the amps and drums ...

then we added all other tracks individually...


I hope you take the song...you can do what you want....pan the guitars...reverb on vocals...or just listen to my copy if you don't have time

good mixes...probably better than mine!
I got a half-blown set of rehearsal monitors and a bad ear full of wax!
 
sounds good!...when I mixed I had to do a bunch of automation to cut out mistakes on both of the electric guitar tracks...

also dont be afraid to do some creative panning if you wanna give it a go...
