Okay, see what you think of this:
From your suggestions:
-moved guitars a little wider (to 80%l/r)
-moved hi pass filter on rhythm guitars to 80 hz from 160 to enhance low end. There is a deep parametric dip at 400 hz, but I feel it adds definition to them instead of taking away fullness. To me, taking it out seems to add some mud.
-ran drums to stereo aux channel, compressed 4:1. Compression seems to have dulled the drums a little, or at least the snare, or at least the verb on the snare, so I took the noise gate off the reverb aux I was sending some of the drums to.
-moved hi hat in to about 78% instead of full r
-added 5db, .93q boost to bass eq at 2K. Was previously a boost at 1K, moved it to 2K where the attack seems to be.
-adjust volumes of various instruments in response to results of the above changes.
