Thanks. Is there a way to keep high reverb yet remove the wooliness of it? That must be what I'm hearing. But, our band likes a ton of reverb just an a stylistic effect so we'd like to keep it. Would sending the vocal reverb to a bus that has an EQ curve cutting the highs and lows/low mids be the way to do that? I'm using Valhalla so maybe it has that option I'll look. The Sound of the Demo is pretty on par with the Original - the Organ isn’t too wooly - the Vocals are - Back off the reverb a little bit.
Put a EQ Plugin before the Reverb - cut between 180 hz and 400 hz out - you can leave it high in the mix.Thanks. Is there a way to keep high reverb yet remove the wooliness of it? Here is an updated mix. Is the vocal reverb any better? I cut out some lows and mid lows in the vocal-reverb vst and then used a slightly higher predelay. I also raised the mix's gain by 2B and thickened up the acoustic guitar a hair.
