Hey folks....
I'm a newb here, but I have frequented this site many times in search of info and found some really good stuff.
Therefore, I submit a mix for critique. This song was done for my friend's nephew. Long story short - he is a metal musician and we have told him many times to come over and record with us. His uncle and I have recorded "lighter" songs for many years and as a result, he thought we couldn't do anything heavy. So we made this tune for him. The voices you hear are his, as he sent a video to everyone thanking them for the graduation gifts. It was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek - pretty much flavored around his main metal interests (Lamb of God, Bullet for my Valentine, Metallica).

This was done with Cubase SX3 and Reason 4.0. The guitars were recorded using Guitar Rig 4 (solos and bass) and LePou amp simulators (rhythm guitars, Le456 with LeCab).
I used Ozone 4 to mix and master.
