Great job on the tune.:D It moves. To the mix. Two things only; bring the drums up to put more ass in it and I hear an amp buzzing. You need to figure a way to tame that. I love the lyrics.

this song made me want to do a shot and play some pool!

it will definitely rock the box at the hole..

the vocals are a little crisp sounding..

reminded me of Skynyrd!

Hey

Very good overall

Didn't like the the drums jumping around so much.
Maybe try to mix the main guitar, bass, and vocals a little better
vocals seemed loud in relation to bass but not really with the guitar (loud) Keep in mind you might want to change the guitar to come out more during the solos.

LOVED THE SLIDE UP.

Andrew

Good piece man. Did you play the guitars?
Only the drums I don't like. They sound very midi.
For me it is important that the drums sound good, especially in your style. I like the song.

Thx for the imput. Fender made the Cyber Twin too good. It even emulates the damn 60 cycle buzz. I must re-do the drums, I just needed someone to tell me to. Thx for the honest and kind opinions. Damn, now I got more work to do. Winter is about to slam into the Western NY area. Should be a productive season to stay inside and fiddle around recording.

I must be missing some codecs or something. Media player says its an .asx file and craps out..

yeah!!! fun!!! great one for the box!!! i agree, drums need more ass!!:D

man, man, that live sound is rockin. It would probly pass jus fine for the jukebox in the bar. But you wanna put it in a collection, you might wanna bring the drums up a lil and like somebody already referred to, make em kick a little. The vocal seemed to almost clip in a couple of places in the first verse but seemed to be pulled back a little from there. You might mic a little further away on that twin and get some phat on it and lose the buzz too. Sounds like you boys been down around where I`m from.... I dig it like water to a catfish :)

Hey, Thx for the replies and ideas. I re-did the kick drum, and tried to bring up the drums and lose some of the buzz. In the near future, I hope to get my paino playin friend to lay down a keyboard track and I got 2 friends working on different lyrics. Thanks again for all the great feedback. Dave

the drums sound better, but now the vocals sound a little low and the bass sounds too loud.. sorry man, just giving ya my ear fears! :D

The vocals were too crisp before, and now they're too low.. I would try some e.q. and also raise them, also lower that bass a bit, or e.q. it..

Nice blues shuffle. Bass is a bit overpowering. Vocal is too far back in the mix. It's a good vocal too: I would play with the level as well as the compression.

I don't know.....wait a second........Pfffffffftt..................ahhhhhhhh.........Print it.

thx, will correct it once again when i get some more time. I've had a shitty cold for a week and my ears are all plugged up. You feckers are too good to me, Charva

BTW, Track Rat... you got any more original tunes to share? Ever finish that song "Down" that you had posted a long time ago? I listen to "I'll get back at you" often. Great tune man.

Not to hijack your thread but I'm hooking up with some talented individuals and hope to be doing some fun stuff soon.

Groovy man. Can't wait to hear ya's. I think this thread is ready to shit the bed anyhow. Take care, Charva
