Lol. Not too bad. Your singer has a little trouble with this one. Great guitar playing.

Cool. Guitar, drums and bass come together nicely here. Not familiar with the original although I've heard phish do this live a bunch of times and needless to say, this is a totally different beast. Love the guitar sound. The drums towards the end are pretty insane. I'd love to see you guys live. Very listenable for a one-mic dealio.

Thanks HM! I will have to look up Phishs version...I assume it is probably closer to the original by Lou Reed....thanks for listening!

I love the original, RnR Animal & Mott versions. I hadn't heard the Mitch one or Phish (spelt Ghoti).
I quite like this but reckon, for the 1st time, that the bass tone is too toppy - too much going on in the region so it could've used a little more derrier.
Nice one Queeps.

Refreshing, live, the sound of not smashed to shit.
:D
......recording is live 1 stereo mic....
Interesting that the drums are fairly wide, but the guitar is right up the middle.

Thanks Ray...wow, can't believe I have never heard the Mott version...must youtube it now! I'm not sure of the bass players settings on this, but he is either super heavy lowend..or not existant as he has a tendency to dropout, and not play when he is singing(he is lead singer)

Thanks , yeah, we are always amazad how this mic picks up the drums to begin with....its just a tiny little thing that came with the minidisc....we have it clipped to the dropped celing frame, and use it to record our practices...it really captures drums well and gets lots of details in his kit/cymbals.....my guitar never is as wide sounding as I want it....it is going thru the PA straight from xlr line outs from my amp....

Yeah, dude.... Not bad at all for a single stereo mic. Performances are good all the way around, but I'm not familiar with the original, so that comes without comparison. Great job!
