this rocks... that break reminded me of "roses and the wine" ... speaking of which ... where are more videos man... :D

just kidding I know it takes alot to make a good animation...

I was waiting for a pick scrape ... at about 0:21 but it didn't come ... :(

also somehow this song fits the latest brawl... "don't speak too soon could be mistaken" :)

cheers

Turn up the intro??

TURN UP THE WHOLE DAMN SONG CUZ THIS SUCKER IS TIGHT!!!
Its in your face and flawless. And that tempo change right after that huge flange...genius!!!
If you are ever gonna have a disagreement with someone on here you better hope to be as lucky as me and have it with someone that can back their shit up and turn you into a fan of theirs!!!
Run for you lives dudes cuz this cat's cuttin heads with this one!!!

In the beginning, there was VOLUME!!!
The King

Scott,

Arent you a fellow CEP user? Did you use CEP's EQ? I find it to be decent on top (7k+) but not very musical on bottom and awful in the low mids (250-550).

What EQ did you get?

JuSumPilgrim:-Right on with the cep eq. I find it better at cutting than boosting. I'm now using the timeworks mastering eq. Its much smoother. Try boosting the low track eq on drums in multitrack view. Seems to work very nicelly. But dont push it too far.
Fed: might put the pick scrape in. Good idea.
fenderlikingood: The non stop and in your face was our intention. Glad you thought so too.
King Elvis: welcome back and thanks for the good vibes. My shout.

great song there scotty(can i call you that?)

The music was brilliant!!
when the drums came in after the toms at about 00:26 though i felt there should have been a crash or something, but i spose thats just my prefference in music. you could have been going for the slowly fade in drums. did you have a hi-hat and a crash playing at the same time in that intro part?

your voice sounds semi-country if thats alright to say(hope thats not an insult)
i think you should really put some harmonies in coz that would sound sick!!!!!! nothing too in your face, but just maybe on a couple of lines and chorus, and definately that outro singing bit at 02:45!

thats just my opinion though.

anyway thats about the 5th time iv listened to your song!

Rock out man-Excellent job-you definetely got your recording shit together, as well as playin and writing. Nothing for me to add except I liked it!---Well 1 thing, this reminds me of "clock strikes ten" or something like that off cheap trick live at budokan-until you hit the bridge that is..........Keep em comin please!

One other thing-what do you mic your guitar cabs with? you dont seem to get that sm57 honk-i like your guitar sounds mucho...

didn't read the other comments yet

I have been listening to this tune since the first day you posted it.

I love it.. Especially that 'Van Halenish' break..

Not to sound like an as kisser here, but this is a great tune..

The fidelity could be better maybe, but it is another great one man!

keep em comin!

Balshazza: Thanks, more and more Aussies here. OI OI

Stratomaster: You should have got my pm about the mic setup. I didn't want to bump the tread up but now I did anyway. And so as to not be rude, its my old 57 about 1" of the speaker cardboard. Don't get anything else but Marshall grunt right there.

jamal buchet: Don't know whether you got it or not, but thanks anyway.

B.SABBATH: Thanks for the kind words. I have a newer mix with a bit more fidelity, or a bit brighter anyway. Added some guitar solos and stuff. A slight remix, but otherwise the same. Its on my web site music page with the other song I did at the same time (Snow).

Great stuff Scott........ "Great Scott"
.....Love the song man...... ..the guitar tone and playing are fantastic.... ......really nice in this song. ..and I agree about the flange...... very cool!!! The vocals suit this song very well, allthough the screaming verse suggestion made by theron is a good one. The song seems to drop a little at :22. Its right after the toms, I agree it should come down for the verse section... ...but it seems to die a little IM very HO. The only other complaint would be a little tempo fluctuation. Nice stuff man, I cant wait to hear more.
