Missing device for cd-burning plug-in

OK, I'm stuck on CEP but I like it and Adobe has to much of a market already. My device options are blank in the CD-burning plugin since I added an external USB cd burner and now can't figure out how to get the plugin to e\recognize any device at all. Anyone have any ideas? I've removed and reinstalled the external USB burner, CEP and the plugin with no change.

My CEP would not recognize my INTERNAL CD-Burner as a CD-Burner.

It simply thought it was not a CD-Burner. (LG 52X32X52).


After I installed Windows XP (was using 2000) it no longer had a problem, and recognized my burner.
