What's up people? I'm brand spanking new to this whole music making thing. I'm playing around with Fruity Loops 4. The problem is, the software won't play some of the included .wav samples. I can't get windows media player or winamp to play those files either. I'm guessing that I need a codec... or so my research has led me to believe. I'm having one heck of a time trying to find out which codec I need.. if any. Does anyone know what codecs Fruity Loops uses in particular?? Or is my system just screwy? Here's a list of codecs currently on my system.. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

Maybe they are 24bit/96 kHz waves, and you only have a 16bit/44.1 kHz soundcard?

As it turns out, you need a ogg codec, which was supplied with Fruity Loops, but for some strange reason, it didn't install it automatically when I installed the software. What a headache... all better now though.
