"experimenting styles", how's a pink flowered coat with silver shiny do-dads sound? With light blue tight pants, belled a little at the bottom, and a pair of "PANTY HOSE" in the back right pocket?

What's up James? Another good tune from the king of country. I like it. :)

Man, I got a nice little song list for your cd, just need to burn up one, and get it to ya. I hope you be putting all these tunes on the one you sending me.

I like the "style" of all your tunz. It's the real country sound you have that makes me want to grab my wify and hit the dance floor.

nice performances, but has the recording fidelity of the 60's/50's...which is fine, I suppose for this tune. But, ya know, after listening more, I really have to take that statement back. The reverb is nicer than some of those old cheezy reverb chambers, and there is a fuller EQ spectrum...whatever that means. But...I swear I heard old record scratches at the beginning:eek:

You also know...it is you smooth singing cowboy types that kick the meanest booty when you've had too much....

living in western Kentucky, I've had my share of "deliverance" jams myself....but this tune sounds pretty decent.

ditch the 'bleeding' click track!!

hey James,

I've tried to stream three or four times and all I get is a low end, cut out rumble. Surley it's my end that stumbles cause, as of yet , your songs have always been a pleasure.

wish I could lend and ear but, all I offer are mumbles of
of a tune I'd dearly like to hear.

nice..

I hope you dont take offense to this, but as soon as I heard it I thought of my Dad. I knew he would like it because this is his type of tunes. I was right.. He loved it, and he is 70, and he loves this type of country. He lives in Florida and I'm in New York, but I send good music to him regularly..

I thought I heard record scratches too..:D

great stuff man..

I'm a huge Johnny cash fan, and I must say that I really enjoyed this tune in a similar way. I love the way the vocal sounds, but I must agree with mix that the rest could use some high-end sparkling, though the sound could be just what you were goin for. Did you write this track? You know sombody named Joe Wilson (not that far fetched I know)? My best bud in the whole world is named that, which is cool cause the man in black is his absolute favorite, and he'd freakin love this tune, which is just what I was thinking right when you spouted out that name, really eerie for me, but you can jsut ignore the latter half of that post, sorry....

Nice tune!
I'm going to live 3 month in "Hicksville, PA", and it really got me in the right mood :-)
The streaming was terrible though. I'll go D?L it later. This one's definitly a keeper.

I'm going on another vacation to Montana in August. I'm taking this one with me. Not a big country fan in general, but I can feel this one....especially with the general "mastering" you've done. It does sound like and older recording in general, but clear enough to be very enjoyable. I can see it now... I'm pulling out of the airport in Bozeman, MT with this tune comin outa my MP3 player.
