mIRC chat program, a room!?

Hey everyone. Just thought i'd let everyone know about a mIRC chat room i recently found. Its on Quakenet server, port 6667 ( irc.quakenet.org ) and its room #guitar

maybe cyas all there sometime!

Just pop in for a chat.

P.S if you don't know what mIRC is then go get it @ www.mirc.com

Its IRC. Not Mirc. Mirc is a gateway/client FOR irc.

Sorry...just a pet peeve. :p

I like IRC from time to time...it's like the dark sickly underbelly of the net...the back alley. Home to pedophiles and attack robots, and mabye two or three people troubleshooting windoze. Always interesting. :)

Hence why i put a small m and capiltals in IRC, read the help or something similar on the mIRC application, and you will find they use this term aswell :P

I tried firing up a chatroom some months ago.. The general reaction was "but we got this awesome html-chat" or "what is IRC".. Links didn't help.

Since I'm in a counter-strike clan, I'm almost always on Quakenet, and since my computer is almost always on, I can "babysit" a channel.. Let's name it #homerecording

So.. #homerecording on Quakenet. Slack.. I'm expecting you!!

I havent been on irc since the days of idling in #c, #linux, or #phrack. Probably wont be back either...its been overrun. :)
