Minimal Spec Computer.

Hey all, im looking ot buy (have built) a computer, that will enable me to record sufficiently on, for quite a low budget, think £200-£300
What would you suggest that i need? that would give me a decent, multitrack, east latency, possibly 4 track simultaeneous recording computer..

I already have;
M-Audio Delta 44
M-Audio - Audio Buddy.....

Get an Asus mobo, then
some AMD cpu, 2400+ are pretty cheap
512MB ram
80GB HD
64MB video card
17" crt monitor
350W pS & cheap ass case

would probably be the minimum reasonable spec.

Remember also it's not so much how many tracks you'll be recording concurrently, it's how many you want to play back and how many real time effects you're using. If you'll be using more than 24 tracks/16 plugins, consider upgrading to a faster cpu
