I have a Tascam portastudio MD, Can I record in strereo and play a data md in my sony minidiscman?

As far as I know, a data disc is for recording digital music. If your Sony is just a "playing" box, you won't hear anything from a 4/8 track data disc on a ?two-track device.

You can buy two track data discs to record; but, again, I don't know if they will play on your Sony. If your Sony is only a playing box, then it can't play data discs which are used to record multiple track recorders.

Minidisc recording

Thanks Green Hornet for your input, Since I have found that you kmust use audio mds (stereo 2 track) to record on the Tascam Portastudio and then play or record on the sony mini discman. The data mds are not compatible with the player/recorders. Thanks for the help.
