minidisc to hard drive???

I am having difficulty in transferring a 62min. mix of dance music onto my computer so that i can then burn it to cd's.

can anyone help me with my problem??????

I bet someone could help you with your transfer problem if you gave some more info. Such as, what the difficulty specifically is, what equipment you are working other than just minidisc, and how everything is connected. Post this info and you will almost certainly get some good suggestions.

Ok,
I have recorded some of my sets onto minidisc. I now want to copy these sets to send out to various clubs around the UK. The reason I want to copy these sets to CD is because of the big difference in cost between CD's and minidisc.
The reason why I chose minidisc is because it has a simple method for allowing me to mark each indiviual track without having to put any audiable gap in the mix.If anyone could think of an easier way to copy my sets onto CD's which would also allow me to mark each track but without the gap i would be eternally grateful!!!!!

oh, I nearly forgot my computers specs.

I have a PC (obviously!!) which is a PIII 450MHZ with 128MB RAM and 15GB hard drive, it also has a cd writer( philips CDRW800). The soundcard is a soundblaster pro.
The minidisc recorder is a portable sharp MD/MT161.
And this is connected up through the line-out on the MD using a 3.5mm phono plug to a numark DMX20002 3 channel mixer and then from there to the computer using a 3.5mm phono lead into the line-in on the computer. The software I've been trying to use is called musicmatch.

As I am a complete newbie when it comes to any of this kind of thing there is probably a much easier way of achieving my goal.

It sounds like your problem is
the opposite of mine. I need mini
disc coming out. Going in it sounds
like your on the right track. It all
depends on what kind of preamp that
is as to wheather or not your gonna
get a full signal to your computer.
I use a behringer Eurodesk(around $200)
Your better off with a baby mackie.
Much warmer. Also I've been using
N-tracks software for recording. A lot
of people on this board feel it's a
good deal for the money.($35) That 3
channel mixer sounds kinda dodgy. Kind
of like the ones we sell at Radioshack.
Does the UK have "The Shack"? Just

Yes i think we have "the shack", or at least we did have last time i looked!!!!!
The 3 channel mixer is primarily used for my decks ( vestax pdx d3s). It cost £350 from a dj supply shop.
I'm not having trouble getting a full signal into the computer. The trouble i have is that i would like some software that can read what is on the minidisc and copy it to my hard drive so that i can put it on CD.
