mini disc optical in

Hi guys,

I'm going to buy a mini disc recorder/player, I would like to know if I could record my wave files through optical out of my soundcard(Terratec EWX24/96) to the optical in of Mini disc player, do you think it's possible?

Yes it is. The optical in/out (TOSLINK) is a S/PDIF format and will do exactly what you want to do (as long as your card is TOSLINK optical and not ADAT lightpipe that is).
