Hi,
I am using a midiman 4x4 hooked via USB to PC using Cakewalk Home Studio 2002. I have 4 modules connected to the 4x4. I can see all 4 ports available in the "midi output" selections and can make any one of them #1 and it works great. I cannot, however, get more than one to play at a time. just which ever one I make number 1. Number 2 3 and 4 are assignable as outputs, but the midiman doesn't respond to them. I'm pretty sure I should be able to send midi data to at least 2 or 3 at a time.
PC, XP home, HS2002. Any help or sugestions are greatly appreciated.

thanks,
rick west

I don't have a midiman 4x4, and I'm sure you already have it set up right but just incase...

you do have the modules on the same recieve channel as the device sending the midi transmission correct?

I know that's the obvious thing, but just maybe that's it...

Hmmm... very obvious but you may have it. I think they're all set to channel 1. Once I overcome this learning hurdle I'll be awesome, maybe... thanks again

yea you gotta set all the midi devices to different channels.
