I have been using midi for quit some time now so I am somewhat familiar with how midi works. In the past I have always made my tracks using a midi sequencer and then mixed down to an anolog tape deck. This worked ok but now I have just purchased a cd-rw and want to burn my own cd's. I would like to go directly from the midi to the cd burner if possible where I can play the cd's in my home stereo or car stereo. Is this possible? I know you have to convert the midi to audio but not sure how to do that. I am currently using a Yamaha digital piano as a controller and a Yamaha sound module for my sounds. I have Cakewalk, Magix Music Studio and Locator as my software that I use. Can I run a line directly from my sound module in to the in port of my sound card and convert that way or what? Thanks for any suggestions.
