Midi realtime effects

Hello,
i'm a recent italian user of Cakewalk Pro Audio Version 9.03.
I have a midi keyboard (an old keyboard but fortunately with MIDI connections!) and i had connect the keyboard to my pc.
I started working with Cakewalk Pro Audio but i have a question for this forum: Can I process the midi input with any midi realtime effects using Cakewalk?
For "Realtime" I don't mean process the sound recorde (this is simple for me) but in "real" realtime.
Exists a plugin midi of this type for Cakewalk?

SONAR will do real time midi effects with WDM drivers...CPA shouldn't be able to do this with it's driver setup....but i've never used CPA........whatever the case, SONAR with WDM drivers yields lower latency than is possible for CPA....low latency is important for using any real time effects or soft synths...a pc running close to 1ghz helps for realtime stuff.
