midi problems & audio please help

Hi, I am having problems with my set up I have the following equipment and hook up:
midi setup
midi port 1x1- input to output keyboard / output to input drum machine
Korg es-1 sampler- input to output drum machine/output to input keyboard
sr-16 drum machine- output to sampler input
yamaha psr-170 keyboard-output to midi port input
audio set up
1/4" connector from tascam porta II multitrack recorder track 1 to sound card of dell computer track2 to behringer 602a mixer main out
drum machine 1/4" connectors from main out to line 3 mixer
Sampler 1/4" connetors from output to line 5/6 mixer
keyboard 1/4" connector from output to line in sampler
I have installed home sudio 2002 on my dell computer is not responding to midi out or in put and no audio. I'm trying to get everything to work together i am also using midi channel 10 sometimes 1,6. please help thank you raywon

The main problem is that you cant connect the MIDI OUT of one Keyboard to the MIDI in on another and expect that signal to pass though. Only a MIDI THRU will pass on the original midi signal. Most drum machines do not have THRU's so that is a problem. You will probably need a MIDI interface with more ports to use that many modules together.

You should also be using seperate channels for each device if you want them to each play different notes at the same time.

You need to read up on basic MIDI setup and operations.
 
I think I understand your setup and should go like this-

You need to pick one keyboard as your controller. This will be the only device that sends any info to your computer. The others will just be playing back what the controller or sequencer is telling them to play.

If you want multiple controllers you will need a bigger interface or a MIDI merge box.

MIDI Interface OUT - Controller IN
MIDI Interface IN - Controller OUT
Controller THRU - Next Keyboard IN
Next Keyboard THRU - Drum Machine IN

That should work.
