I'm outputting midi from Ableton to my drumcomputers, synths and effects. I'm using a cheap $20 usb to midi in/out cable.
I have a Lexicon MX200 effects processor that needs midi sync for the delay effects timing.
If I enable the "Sync" setting for my midi-out (
), the Lexicon delays work great.
Problem is, if I do that suddenly the rest of my hardware behaves incorrectly - f.e. my Roland R70 drumcomputer starts playing other instruments on notes meant for one instrument, i.e. the tom-notes play the tom sound AND a snare, the hihat suddenly also plays a cymbal, etc...
My x0xb0x suddenly has problems with glide, so whenever a note is supposed to glide into another note it suddenly glides to a very high note instead...
If I disable the "Sync" option on the midi-out everything works fine again, but then the Lexicon won't have correct timing for the delays..!
Anyone got any idea ?
