Have you got Scarlet Mix Control installed? If not do so because it gives you a much bigger range of buffer sizes.

I picked up the 8i6 from a Cash Generator shop for 100quid and no software! I downloaded the mixcontrol and all I have really worked out so far is the "Settings" button takes you ro ASIO samples!
BTW. When I plugged it in today it wanted to do a firmware setup so I let it. Only took about 2 minutes but I had to unplug and replug the usb lead for it to re connect. Also, I don't know this for sure but it is probably important not to have the system disturbed during a firmware update. I know this is vital during a BIOS flash!

I would say this is its equal as they probably have the software on an EPROM.

I was able to adjust the buffer in the driver settings in Sonar. seems to have solved the problem. Thanks Guys
