In London during the 1980s there was a chap who enjoyed a roaring trade because he had the idea to start fitting MIDI interfaces into older non-MIDI synthesisers.

Many people didn't want their Juno 6 or Korg Deltas to be left out in the cold when it came to computer sequencing time.

Is there anybody who can still perform this task? I have a Hammond organ that I would quite fancy being able to hook up to my MIDI kit and I'm wondering just who could help me.

if you can find some one who has one of the old kits it aint a walk in the park but a good tech can do an install.... of course your looking at 5-6 hrs at $75-100/hr and it will only send midi data NOT receive...

forgot about that one... it's only for acoustic pianos though...

back when i was in the repair biz there was a musical instruments tech asssoc... known as (duh) MITA if you google them (im assuming there still active) you may find a member who has one of the ones for hammonds...
