Hey does anyone use the MAudio MIDISport UNO 1x1 MIDI Interface? http://www.zzounds.com/a--2676837/item--MDOUNO
I was reading the reviews and it seems that it is a PITA with XP.
Anyone have this problem? Also could someone recomend a good book on begining MIDI? I already ordered Basic MIDI by Paul White. Any other good ones? I was going to get that now and then...

I think this will be compatible with either card. I have heard that event's stuff doesn't play well with AMD chip sets. Any merrit to this claim?
unfortunately I have to upgrade in these steps due to funding.
If anyone has the time to take a look and let me know what I am missing I would greatly apreciate it. Will the led light in the power supply or any other lights add buzzing or any other crap? I could easily do with out it. Just thought it would be fun.
It is pretty obvious that I am new to computer building for audio. I will have some help with the assembly.
