Midi-In

Have Electronic Kit, finally bought cables to plug it in to game port/midi. Cannot get computer to give Midi-in option -- when i go to contol panel-mulitmedia I can set up Midi out but not in -- in fact I'm able to play midi files, in Sonar, and hear them through my kit but can't get computer to recognize Midi-in/drumkit

Have you confirmed what MIDI channel your are sending and receiving on? Many drum modules have a default of channel 10 to receive (10 is the industry standard for drums) but the module may send on channel 1.

However, if you are saying your soundcard/interface cannot accept MIDI in - then I have no idea what the problem is.
