MIDI Dealy, Which sound card to get

I have a Evoulution MK-449c midi controler and Absynth 2.0 from native instruments. What I need to know is what soundcard I should get to get rid of the delay, I already have a Nvidia nForce sound card thas built into the motherboard. It may be adequet but im not sure. So either -

What soundcard should I get?
or
If my current sound cards enough whats could the problem be?

Alomst every onboard soundcard is bad bad soundcard. It's ok for listening mp3 on the office durring break, but worthless when you do serious audio work. The delay is called latency, and nothing much you can do with onboard soundcard. Get yourself at least M-Audio Audiophile 2496 or similiar card which support WDM or ASIO driver. These driver perform alot better handling latency issue.
