Midi controller being read / also mic

hello everyone.



also i have recently purchased an apex 460 as my vocal booth mic. and i have steinberg Ci1 as my audio interface.

I have not been able to get any recordings from my microphone yet.




apex 460 ----> Ci1 ai --------> mac ---->reason (still have no functioning mic)

That gets to Reason eventually and might be of some help.

Getting the mic working is just a process of elimination....Does the AI "blink" when the mic is tapped? If not try another mic, lead. If yes probably a setup issue in the DAW. Try something simple like Audacity.

I am sure a "mac man" will be along soon.
