MIDI controller acting funky...?

It's been acting out weird; it's off-tune, meaning that when I play a C-note on the keyboard, the computer recieves a totally different note. Likewise with the rest of the notes.

I had faced this problem before by just plugging out/in and it had done the trick. Now it wont.

Any solution?

comm errors, perhaps bad midi cable or port, settings within keyboard, number of possiblities.

Is your pitch bender zeroed? Is there a key transpose on?

Have you checked the actual midi events received by the DAW? That would indicate what actual note is being received, whether the pitch bend is on, or what not.

Some controllers have a transpose feature, make sure that isn't active.
