Earlier I posted a question about not being able to hear midi sounds within cubase. I noticed that mi MIDI out cable was attached while trying to play back MIDI files, and I am thinking this might be a problem. The only two options for MIDI playback are my sound card "SBlive!Midi out" and "MROS". what is MROS?
if I have a midi cable connected will all midi data be sent through it automatically? In my other programs I have the option of choosing internal play back through "SBlive GM synth a" or somethjing like that, and it works just fine. But in cubase the only options I have are the ones stated above. I have the same application on a second computer which also has the same sound card, and MIDI works fine. However on this computer I have no midi cables connected whatsoever. Any Ideas??? thanks
