Hi all, I hope somebody can help me with this (hopefully) simple question..
I use CubaseSX at home for multi-tracking but I also use a Fostex FD-4 at my friends house when I want to record some stuff away from home.
In the past I have recorded each track from my Multi-Tracker into my computer but then spent ages getting everything to match up time-wise. But I am working on a new song and I am going to have about 20 tracks (I'm using 4 disks for this song...) to get into the right sequence.
This obviously will be a nightmare, I wish to know if it's possible by using Midi to enable my FD-4 to start playing when I click play on Cubase or, visa versa.
I have only very limited knowledge with Midi (I have two midi cables ready for the job mind you) so if anybody would be so kind as to explain what I have to do in a way a simpleton such as myself will understand it will be very much appreciated
Many thanks in advance.
Chris.
