MIDI and Audio on One Track in REAPER

Am wondering if anyone can help me with this,
basically i have an auto-tune plugin which I want to be able to control via MIDI (its gsnap) and was wondering if anyone knew of a way to do this in REAPER, because I can't get both running on the same channel and I don't know the settings I need for send/recieve.

Can anyone help?

If the plugin can be controlled via MIDI, I think you would set the input to your MIDI device, no? That's how EZDrummer/SD 2.0 work for me. Though I know you aren't asking about a VSTi, it seems it would be the same if the plugin has MIDI functionality.

Open up the plugin on the audio track you want to use it on, then switch the input to your MIDI device.

If you want to control the auto-tune in realtime with MIDI while recording audio that's a whole routing thing that I'm not even going to try and tackle :)
 
I would like to auto-tune in realtime, I know it's pretty complicated hence why I'm asking :). Thanks for your help though :)!
