I've got a tough decision to make here... I'm looking at 2 excellent analog boards, both in the exact same price range, both from VERY reputable companies, and I need to pick one. So that's why I'm coming to you guys and asking if you have any pro's or con's on either one of the following boards; which has better Mic Pre's, EQ section, etc:

- Midas Venice
- Soundcraft Ghost LE

Any comments or suggestions would be helpfull. Thanks--

I'd take either one in a heartbeat!!

I don't have any hands on with either specific model but I do run a Midas Legend console (BIG brother to the Venice) once a month at my church and it is awesome. The EQ is fantastic (almost TOO flexible).

Good luck on your decision. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

The midas is a 4 bus board that is set up more for live use. The ghost is an 8 bus recording board.

The midas doesn't have a Q control on the parametric eq, the ghost does.

The ghost will allow more different headphone mixes and better handling of multitrack recording.

For live, go with the midas. For recording, go with the ghost.

i had the same dilemma a while ago...........................get the ghost, youll thank me later.

I say get the Ghost. I got one; it's a great board.
