Mics for rough enviorment!?

I know what I'm going to hear. SM-57 or SM-58. So, besides the Shure mics I mentioned here (and my favorite dynamic Sennheiser E835), what mics would you guys recommend for say a hot, dusty enviorment?

Price? Well, I'm looking at getting one mic for around $150, and this will be for mobile recording (vocals mainly, maybe acoustic guitar). I know the Sennheiser 421 is a good option, but above what I want to spend.

My setup would probably be an Alienware Laptop and a M-Audio Firewire 410. No mixer, and monitors to be determined.

I thought that ADK only made condensers. I know I'm going to be in a dry place, but I guess I don't think of condensers for a mobile recording.

Are condensers okay for mobile recording (outdoors, hot weather, sandy weather).?
