Does anyone have any comments on this model, or this manufacturer in general?

My only experience with MG was when my brother-in-law had an intermittant buzz problem with one (I think it was a UM92, that's a guess though) It wouldn't go away no matter who he sent it to. When it didn't buzz it was sweet-sounding though, I remember that much.

Oh, I think I remember him mentioning that Neumann and MG were once the same company until Germany split... Was that BS?

I had a client who wanted me to write down the Fostex website for him because he wouldn't remember it after I told him... www.fostex.com ...Hmmm.
