Hi all,

This may be a very basic question. Can I use dynamic microphone with a presonus firestudio and logic pro 9?

Yes, absolutely. The only caveat is that it wants to be a "proper" mic with balanced XLR output--there might be a few cheapo unbalanced high impedance dynamics around that would not match--but they wouldn't be worth recording anyway.
