I heard somewhere that to get a better snare drum sound you should put one microphone on top and then one microphone on the bottom and reverse its polarity. Anyway, how do you reverse a microphone polarity? Any help is needed, thanks.

Henry, you'll get way better responses to your question if you post it in the microphone forum here.

Reverse pins 2(normally positive/hot) and 3 (normally negative/cold), on one end of the microphone cable only. Just need a soldering iron. Label this mic cable somehow, peice of bright coloured tape on each end, whatever, just so it doesn't get mixed up with your normal wired cables.

Although your main question has been answered I would strongly suggest that you know WHY it is necessary that the microphones on the snare be out of phase with each other.
I have come across a great article that explains phasing using the very same example that you did with the snare drum (The link is at the bottom of this post). If you already know this I am sorry to waste your time but if not this should explain a lot and 20 minutes of reading about phasing issues can make your recorded drums sound better :)
