Microkorg midi question

I record using a audiobox usb interface into Macbook running studio one pro. I have only been recording guitars,bass,vocals direct into DAW, but recently was gifted a Microkorg keyboard. I have messed around with the different sounds of the korg, but is it feasible as a Midi workstation or Midi controller?, the keys are small and just wondering if anybody has used it to control all the midi sounds in their DAW...thanks, I know this is a totally newbie question.. ADAM

any device with a midi out can be used to create a midi track or play a virtual instrument........if its all you got try it. It's personal preference
