Hey everybody. I'm not really a newbie to home production, however, I am a newbie to to this program and midi controller. I've tried looking up this problem and posting this question before with no luck. My problem is this:

I run Reason 3.0 on a Dell desketop setup and on a Dell laptop setup, both use the same external hard drive (usb seagate 160 gb). Both use external usb sound cards (tascam us-428 for desktop and us-224 for the laptop). I bought the microkontrol to actually "play" music easier and while it works with both, it is only recognized on the laptop as "MicroKontrol". On my desktop, it's just simply not in the korg pull-down box. I only see "midi keyboard, midi keyboard w/controls, etc.". I tried unistalling and reinstalling the drivers but the same thing happens. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Reason but with no luck either, which I kinda figured because they're both using the same hard drive.

Also, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but in the drop down menu under the preferences where you select your controller, on my laptop, Mackie shows up but on the desktop it doesn't show up at all.

Please, if anybody has any ideas on what I'm doing wrong/how to fix this problem, it would be Greatly appreciated.
