Hi all,
I am new to recording and I got a Micro BR with a Shure Beta 58a mic. When I connect the mic and try to record with my Micro BR, I find the volume very low, I have to almost shout and eat the microphone to get enough volume. I tried tune up the gain on Micro BR, but it doesn't work. Is that I will need a pre-amp in order to use this mic?
If I go and upgrade to BR-80 or BR-800, does that eliminate the need for a mic pre-amp?
Thanks.
