I recently built a vocal booth for my home studio and I received a Samson C03 as a gift but I'm none too thrilled with it (lots of hiss and often flat). It only costs $100 dollars so I'm not expecting a lot from it. I would like to upgrade to something better and I would be in the market for a $300-$500 mic. Oh. and the type of music is just plain rock and the vocals would not require screaming or growling. I just want a good full sound. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, TB
