Hi,
This is something I have been wondering for some time. What is the general temperature extreme for mics to be stored in? Not having a permanent studio, my equipment frequently gets put away into storage (inside the house, not outdoors in a garage) but can be left in a cold/unheated room.
Is there a temperature extreme at which point a microphone can become damaged, or are they resilient enough to withstand most normal temperatures, say 1oC - 30oC?
I use an Se2000 and a Rode NT1-A.
Many thanks,
Robert
