Hello - does anyone know of a good source for mic schematics? I have a bad AKG451 that needs some repair.

Thanks
Keivn.

I don't know about AKG, but I got the Shure SM57 schematic off of their website. Of course, the mic was pretty much unserviceable anyway. They filled the tube up with something that makes it near impossible to get into it....and very messy.

Thanks guys. I ended up emailing AKG - they sent a schematic over in a couple of hours. Great service.

It is a 451E that got too much phantom current... the mic pre was mis-wired. On inspection I found a resistor that is burnt so I needed the schematic to debug it.

Thanks again
Kevin.

Glad you got it figured out! I'm happy it turned out to be a resistor, hopefully.
