I plan on converting my bathroom into a little booth for recording vocals...earlier I learned that I will need a preamp for my mic, but how about the headphones for the person in the booth/bathroom, where would I connect that? Would I connect it into the computers eadphone outlet is what I guess I'm asking.

You'll need to give us some more info on

.... your equipment

.... your budget

.... the distance from your equipment to the bathroom

i know this is maybe way to early, but if you have the ability, route the playback plus the singers voice with heavy reverb added to the headphones.
Thus giving the singer a better feeling what (s)he is doing.

Unless the singer has Irritable Bowel Syndrome I would just record the vocals in the living room. Contrary to popular belief bathrooms sound like shit.

I agree with Tex. Bathrooms tend to have way too many reflections in particular harsh reflections from the tile walls.

Maybe a guitar cab in a bathroom (maybe) in particular if your want/need a "brighter sound".

There are several posts regarding making a vocal "booth" with drapes or packing blankets - which gives you a controlled dry sound (you can the either use reverb/delay to get controlled reflected sound - or perhaps only use blankets on two or three sides.

But...sitting on the toilet is where I get some of my best thinking done!

I happen to live in a small apatment so the living room is the computer room, etc. I wanted to listen to the track through the speakers without interfering with the vocals being laid down.

If I recorded in the main room, I would have to listen to the vocals through headphones that often flatter the true sound.
I'm planing on using the bathroom as a mic booth of some sort.

Not knowing what your set up is like it is hard to provide a specific answer on where to hook up the head phones (for the singer in the bathroom). Do you currently use phones? If so you could possibly buy an extension cable to add to your cable run.

You could also get a low cost head phone distribution box Rane and Behringer both have low cost units which could take a low level send (such as your computer headphone out) and add about 6db.

Keep in mind, you can track with phones. Conventional wisdom is that critical listening for mixdown should not be on phones, but once you have confirmed a good signal, you can track on phones - keeping the singer in your living room.

If you do use the bathroom - keep some air freshener in there:o
