Do you guys hear a buzz in the vocal track of this clip, to me it does not seem to be a constant buzz but it is kind of buzzy on the high frequencies. I have an apogee ONE and I am using the internal mic.

I can't tell if it is just me or there really is something wrong with the mic, if so what do you suggest I do to fix it?

here is the clip of the apogee in a mix: http://snd.sc/uiXsee

Acapella: http://snd.sc/ru5n8t

and here is the same verse with 2 diff mics how do they compare? which would you go with if you were recording me in the studio?

I don't hear a buzzing so much, what I hear is the mic being 'pushed' too hard - try backing away from it a little bit. Got a pop filter? Use it to get some space. The full mixes (before the vocals start) have distortion indicative of clipping on recording, although the mix is not clipping itself.

Yeah you're right I will try backing up and posting that

You got rid of the 'pushing the mic diaphragm' problem! The distorted keys - are you going for that sound?

Well that is just a backing track so it is what it is.... but you don't hear any buzzing in the high frequencies?

How high are the frequencies you are referencing? These ears have been subjected to loud rock for too many decades!
