mic pre shootout CD

3D Audio offers two micpre shootout CDs. Sounds like something everybody should get .... including me of course. My problem is that I have no clue what preamps are being tested on the respective CDs. Can somebody shine light onto this issue and write down the pres that are on the two CDs?They don't seem to be saying anything on their website

Did you read the whole page?

They actually tell you farther down the page. It says something like "here's the list of pre's that we used" or something like that. It's a link that takes you to their list of pre's. While it would be fun & interseting to hear, I don't think it would help me that much in the near future. The vast majority of those pre's are out of my budget range, and will be for some time. I would think it would be a great thing for serious pro's, though.

Most of those preamps are out of my league for sure, but it's nice they included some of the budget ones for comparison: Presonus MP20, Mackie, ART and dbx ...

too curious to hear the differences - will order :)
