MIC PRE-AMPS: GRACE Model 101 vs APHEX 207 2-Channel

i heard good points with this two baby.. i plan to get one, but which one? My music is Hip-Hop/R&B in case u ask... I'm not sure what mic I'm getting, still in the survey progress..

What if 2ch is a plus? Grace goes for around $500 and aphex around $400

What I did was get one channel of 101 and a little while later I got a second..Kinda like a little over a thousand dollar 2 chan. pre that you can get one chan. at a time..I'm doing the same with the Great River..Its the only way I could buy 2 channels of these pres..now a Viper I'd have to get it a tube or maybe a knob at a time.. ..I think the Grace{don't know the Aphex} is a good choice for less expensive pres..You really hear the qualitys/colors of your mics with it..it stays out of the way nicely{which is good for a transparent pre.IMHO}..Good luck
