i was looking into geting the Rode Ntk tube condencer mic for vocals and acoustic.. and maybe a room mic or something is this the way to go? i need a clear bright sound for acoustic and vocals..im trying to get more than a demo sounding quality recording..my pre amps i have are Line 6 toneport and a firePod..im not really to concerned about my pres at the momment but the mic is what im concerned about i dont wanna make a mistake and buy something i dont need..my goal is to sound like a decent pro studio by the end of 2006. i think my recording and mixing skills need a little bit more improvemnent but i think i can do it! heres a link to one of the songs i did with a sm57 and toneport http://www.lightningmp3.com/live/file.php?fid=2262 let me know what you think of it! but my main question is will a that rode Ntk mic do me any good and help me alot with the quality? thanks
