That weird vocal sound that alota bands get. I cant think of all the examples that Ive heard. I know Zepplin uses it. The one that comes to mind is the effect Hatfeild has on his voice in some of the Metallica songs off the Load album. It sounds kinda distorted and fluidy. I remember reading they used a different kinda mic for those sounds like mics specialized for other things like a harmonica mic I think. Im guesing some of you guys might know what Im getting at so if you have any specifics on it Id appreciate it.
