Mic Choices C1000/CAD2400

If you had an AT4033, ADK CE, SM57 and a MXL603, would you ever choose to use an AKG C1000 or a CAD2400 over them for vocals, electric guitar or acoustic guitar?

In a word, nope.

Definitely not. With that combination of mics you can get some very nice results on vocals, electrics, and acoustics. The ADK especially should sound very nice on vox.

For what your stated purpose is, nothing.

Yeah - unless you're doing drums or large numbers of instruments at once, you've got all you need. Of course, being bored and wanting something new is no bad thing Just make sure the rest of your chain is up to scratch first!!!!
