Mic Cables

I've been told that crap mic cables can effect your recordings/mic sound etc. So I was wondering if the quality of these 'Hosa' branded mic cables were decent? (I'm just starting out, I don't need anything too flash) http://www.musicianswarehouse.com.au/default.aspx?Pg=21&ProductCode=CMK020

Hosa is the absolute dregs of the cable universe. You better off with nearly anything else. What SRR linked to is decent stuff. Rapco, ProCo, CBI, and Horizon are all pretty common cable makers that usualy make decent stuff.
