I bought some used mics a few months ago and with them came some really nice cables with Neutrik ends. I was just wondering where a good/cheap place to order some more cables like that would be. I like how the Neutrik connectors connect and release really easily but stay securely. Sometimes I have to fight with my cheapie MF cables.

You can buy bulk cable and neutrik connectors and make your own.

Plenty of places sell the raw materials. Start by checking out distributors in your area. If there aren't any, check out eBay.

Search for threads about cables on this board. There are quite a few online stores that sell cables and connectors, can't think of their names right now.

My only worry with making cable is I tried that with 1/4" cables once and they didnt hold up long term. I am more prone to trusting something I buy that I know is good quality.

Mogami, Monster, and BLUE all make quality cables. Their top-of-the-line stuff can run $5-$10 per foot. If you are a student, or associated with an academic institution, you can buy cheaper from academic sites, like www.academicsuperstore.com and www.studica.com
